Step 5: Provide Participant Info
Step 6: Apply to Volunteer
Step One: Promote Your Trip
Take advantage of the following resources to help promote your World Changers trip and get students signed up and excited to serve.
Leaders can customize the following resources to promote their group’s chosen dates and location. Resources include a bulletin insert, poster, logos, and announcement slides.
Checkout both promotional and informational videos. Included is a New Group Leader video to help new leaders know what to expect at a project.
Step Two: Manuals & Forms
To make the most of your mission trip be sure to review the Group Leader Manual and Important Forms & Expectations manual. These both cover the nuts and bolts of bringing a group to World Changers and help you know what to expect and do.
The following forms are already provided in the above manuals, but are individual below for easy access to print.
Step Three: Parent Resources
We encourage leaders to use this Parent Pack as a resource to educate parents and guardians on what to expect their students to experience while away at World Changers.
Step Four: Pre-Project Study
World Changers asks every group to complete the Pre-Project Study prior to arriving at their project. We believe groups spending time in God’s word together and learning how to share the gospel prior to World Changers has a positive impact on their overall experience.
Step Five: Provide Participant Info
We require every group to enter participant information online at least a month prior to their project. This helps staff to properly plan for ministry sites, transportation, rooming, etc. This information plays a pivotal role in providing a smooth week for your group.
Your login information is the email used for your group’s registration. After logging in you will see a row of different tabs. Each of these tabs provide important information or require you to enter information about your group.
Leaders may also adjust registration numbers, contact information and make payments on this same website. For help, call 1-800-254-2022 option 4.
Step Six: Apply to Volunteer
At construction and community projects adults have the special opportunity to apply for volunteer roles. These roles include: supervisor, crew chief, crew encourager, first aid coordinator. We’ve dedicated an entire page to explain each of the roles, how to apply and discounted rates. Group leaders are encouraged to send the information to the adults in their group to encourage their involvement in these roles.
