Hello World Changers! We are here in Oxford, Alabama. It’s Wednesday, half way through the week. We have been extremely impressed by the hard work all of the students and leaders have shown us. This week all of our projects are construction based. We had a team work on building a wheelchair ramp for their home owner, we have a crew building a deck at shoulder level, and several roofing crews. We have some pictures of their hard work here!
From middle schoolers to high schoolers, our students are working extremely hard for their homeowners. They are learning all kinds of skills here both about construction and how to share their faith with others.
This week has been incredible already; God has moved in all of our lives. Two of our students made a decision this week to follow Jesus. One of our crews has been able to talk with a neighbor next door. Although he has been hurt by the church, the crew is still loving on him. Today they invited him to crew devotions and he joined them. Pray for that crew as the neighbor opens up to them this week.
Pray for our groups as they go tomorrow. Pray that they would be set on fire to share the gospel this week and beyond. Also, tomorrow night is concert of prayer. Pray for our participants as they learn that God uses their experiences for His glory through it all. Pray for our participants that God would open to what God will do in their lives through this time at World Changers and beyond.
