World Changers is excited to announce that starting in 2018 we will be launching a new daily programming structure! During the day we will continue to offer meaningful missions experiences through all construction, church planting and urban projects that help develop the heart of your students to serve others and share the gospel. We will be sharing how these experiences play out at the different projects in future blog posts. Stay tuned!
Concert of Prayer: The Concert of Prayer is a dedicated time, set aside, free of distractions, for participants to spend in prayer. It is a powerfully scripted time guided by staff and will continue to be a cornerstone of each project.
City Experience: Every city has a story and the goal of City Experience is to tell that story. The goal of this experience is to help students better understand the people and history of the city they’re serving. Groups will be guided through the city to learn more about the need for the gospel, the vision for ministry the rest of the week, and how their work is making an impact in the community.
Gospel Engagement: One evening will be dedicated to helping students engage with the gospel themselves. Biblical illiteracy is a problem in the church today, especially among students. Having a clear understanding of the gospel is vital for students to grow in their relationship with God and live a life on mission when they return home. In addition to this interactive experience, World Changers will provide follow-up discussion material for Group Leaders to use during their church group devotion time to further explore this vital area of discipleship for your students.
Enhanced Church Group Time: World Changers will equip group leaders with the material and supplies to dig into deeper discussion with their students about what they’ve experienced and learned throughout their week of service and sharing. The goal during this time is to help students and leaders alike process what God has been teaching them this week and identify spiritual next steps they need to take.
R & R Night: One of the best things that happens on any mission trip is the relationships that are built within your group. For this reason, we are excited to set aside time for church groups and crews to have some fun and spend quality time together in the middle of the week with the goal of facilitating deeper relationships among you and your students. This will be a programmed evening of activities allowing groups to recharge together and finish the week of serving together strong.
