It’s almost time! P2 and World Changers hit Painesville Saturday, and we couldn’t be more excited! This week, my team and I will be serving students as they serve church planters and homeowners in Painesville. We can’t wait for the students to arrive, and we can’t wait to see how God is going to use them this week.
We are incredibly excited to serve the students coming our way, but you may be wondering who exactly we are. Look no further! This is your ultimate guide to getting to know the team that will be serving this week!
Our Office Manager is Stephanie Dorough. She is from Birmingham, Alabama. She attends Auburn University and she is working towards getting her doctorate in Pure Math. This is her second year on Summer Staff. She is most excited to see what God is going to do with us as a summer staff, and to see how God is going to work in the lives of the students.
Our Missions and Communications Specialist is Taylor Whitmire. She is from Easley, South Carolina. She attends North Greenville University, and she is working towards a degree in Theater. This is her first year on Summer Staff. Taylor is most excited to experience Painesville for the first time with all of our students and leaders.
Our Audio Visual Technician is Saviel De La Cruz. He is from Centreville, Virginia. He attends Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. This is his second year on Summer Staff, but he was previously on staff for Centrikid. Saviel is most excited to meet all the students that we are going to serve.
I (Felicia Amy) am our Music Leader, and I am from Orange, Texas. I attend East Texas Baptist University, and I am working towards a degree in Religion with a concentration in Missions. This is my first year on Summer Staff, and I am most excited to get to know the students that are coming to serve the people of Painesville.
This summer, it is our goal to share the Gospel 25,000 times across North America. 25,000 is a huge number, but I know that as we work toward this goal, God’s name will be glorified in a big way.
As we go throughout the week, be praying for our students and their leaders as they work with church planters to share the Gospel. Pray that the students are able to live, love, and speak BOLDLY.
During the project, be sure to check the blog for updates, pictures, and more. You can also send notes of encouragement by using the, “Send an E-Couragram” button. Most of all, please keep us and everyone involved in the project in your prayers.
Peace and Blessings,
We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.
